In a globalized world, cultural and education exchanges plays an important role, especially in the academic hemisphere. The students of Masters of International Studies had an interaction with the students of exchange programme from the United States. These students were from vibrant educational backgrounds, from different parts of the United States, and were pursuing graduation from recognised universities within US. The programme was coordinated by the Department of International Studies and History and was truly an informative session. At the initial stage of the programme a 15 minutes presentation was being conducted by the students from the US, on explaining how the Education system in the United States functions, providing us with a basic understanding to further compare it with the Indian education system of India, which we are familiar with.  
The personnel conversation that was carried out between the students provided with an overall understanding and helped the students to further concentrate on areas of concerns.  
 
"The interaction was an eye opener considering the vast differences among our education system moreover, their political views on trump and student loans along with anti-gun laws made the conversation interesting. They talked on how one must choose colleges in the US based on state funding. This was very different from how we choose colleges here in India.
The experience thus was very fascinating!"
